Have you ever heard of the phrase, purchase wine according to grapes address? Well, we are currently talking about the Golden Mile of Pinot Noir property. The Pinot Noir grapes come from the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, where some of the countries most awarded wines come from. Only 10km in proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, the climate is “temperate” in style, where the southerly maritime winds blow through the appellations during the summer cooling the grapes significantly. If you are a Pinot Noir fan but not necessarily a fan of the price tag associated with the varietal, then I would highly recommend considering this option. 

Product Features

• Cold maceration occurred for an average of 3 days after which the cooling was turned off and the juice was inoculated with a Burgundian yeast strain. 
• The wine was then fermented under controlled temperatures until dry. 
• The skins were then lightly pressed and the wine racked into a selection of French Oak barrels for 9 months ageing and maturation, 25% of which were new. 
• Final blending occurred one month prior to bottling
