About

Agua de Nieve, Peru

Juicy acidity, apple, black tea

Roasters' Notes:
These high-grown Peruvians are surprisingly resistant to heat. We got best results with a rather long ramp, and aggressive heat before, during and after the first crack. The end result, however, is anything but aggressive.

Roast Style: Classic

Coffee Origin Information:
Peru is a region bursting with coffee potential. This community lot is contributed to by 25 farming families in the Agua de Nieve community, who realised their elevation and quality soils showed great potential for speciality coffee. After a decade of work, they now focus specifically on the production of quality coffees and are achieving the potential they envisaged first 15 years ago.

Golla, Ethiopia

Clean & sweet, peach, tea, citrus

Roaster's Notes:
Our lightest, and shortest profile. The small beans heat through quickly, so we keep the roast short, and the result is indeed sweet.

Roast Style: Progressive

Coffee Origin Information:
The famous 'misty valley' in Ethiopia's Gedeo Zone produces some of the world's most distinctive and sought after coffees. This lot from Golla Washing Station in the northern part of the zone showcases the superb, unmistakable aromatic qualities that we love about the region's coffee.

Frinsa Washed, Indonesia

Full, herbal, bright

Roaster's Notes:
While Wildan Mustofa's impeccable processing protocols have a produced a coffee of rare clarity and cleanness, this lot presents remarkably well with a little more heat and time in the roaster.

Roast style: Classic

Coffee Origin Information:
This is our third consecutive harvest of washed coffee from Frinsa Estate. It’s a select lot comprised exclusively of the Sigarar Utang variety, with all post-picking processing happening on the farm. Frinsa Estate boasts its own wet mill (to remove the fruit) and dry mill (to remove the parchment husk layer). Coffees from Frinsa Estate stand head and shoulders above most coffees produced in the region, thanks to the meticulous care and open-minded approach of Wildan Mustofa and his team.
